DESCRIPTION / PROGRAM

Early morning departure from the places and times at lending money along the motorway to Padua , Mestre. Stop along the way and continue to Trieste .... Arrival at the border of Fernetti and entrance in Slovenia. Continuation of the journey to Postojna , a town on the river Karst Piuca , frequented as a summer resort area and especially for his famous caves. 11.00 am guided tour. You will see : the caves of the "great cathedral " , the "hall of the congress ," the " concert hall " etc. . (Part of the tour is on foot and partly by train ) . Lunch in a restaurant . In the afternoon departure for Villa Opicina to visit the Marian Shrine of modern Santuary , from which you can also see a beautiful view of the Gulf of Trieste. Continuation Redipuglia and then to visit the grandiose military shrine which collects 100,000 dead of the 1915-18 war and the Tomb of Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy, Duke of Aosta , commander of the Third Army . Beginning of the return trip along the highway to Venice , Padua, Vicenza. Stop along the way and arriving in the evening at your destination.
